He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Mickelson and Lillian Mickelson (Kilpela); his wife Sue; his children, Shelly Cramer (Joe) of Gilbert, Sherry Beckmann of Ashland, WI, Robert John, Jr. Mickelson (Steve Adams) of Eagan and Maija Lauseng (Matt) of Biwabik; and his grandchildren, Nikole Anderson (Jay), Jakob Mount (Emily), Samantha Colai, Domonik, Annabelle Cramer, Zachary Beckmann, Alexander, Nicholas Mickelson-Adams, Howard and Austin Lauseng. He was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as numerous friends.
