Though Sherry may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Kaplan and Marjorie Kaplan; her niece Jodi Sclar; her close friend Sue; and also, Elmer and Lillian Nygaard.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer; her son Brian (Holly); her grandchildren, Kathryn Elstad, Eli Nygaard and Alexis Nygaard; and her sister Marilyn Sclar (David). She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (900 Stillwater Rd, Mahtomedi, MN 55115). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
