John Emanuel Povolny Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2022 we had to say goodbye to John Emanuel Povolny (Mahtomedi, Minnesota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil and Molly; his siblings, Margaret and Jim; his wife Joyce; his sister Mary Jane Gaffney; and his children, Greg Povolny (Kathy), Kate Chin (Ted), John Povolny (Frances) and Tom Malone-Povolny (Sheila). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the John E. Povolny Endowed School of Engineering Scholarship Fund at the University of St. Thomas.
