He was predeceased by: his wife Marlyce. He is survived by: his daughters, Shereen Jensen (Dean) and Christiana Marietta (Bruce); and his brother Tom Lee (Francy). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys or Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.

“My sincere condolences to the family. Don was my teacher, mentor and friend in Girl Scouting. We shared many laughs around a campfire at Camp Lakamaga. Over the 35+ years of knowing Don, I enjoyed all the camping and outdoor cooking tips he shared. His eyes sparkled when he taught the girls how to start a campfire or pitch a tent.
