He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. Salchow and Emma A. Salchow (Brustman); and his granddaughter Meghan Salchow. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne O. (Elmer); his children, Gregory (Catherine), Sandra Witter (Allen), Vicki Werner (Erik) and Alan; his grandchildren, Nathan Moore, Julia Loewenberg (Jens), Haden Werner, Connor, Colin and Maura Salchow; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Jason and Jacob Loewenberg; his brother Gordon R. (Kathy); and his nieces, Kelly (Jay) and Raegen (Morgan).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be given in memory of Bernie to Divinity Lutheran Church or any charity of your choice.
