We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2020, at the age of 77, Waetta Martinson of Mahnomen, Minnesota, born in McMinnville, Oregon passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sather and Pearl Sather (Sirjord); her husband Duane Martinson; her brother Arvid Sather; her sister-in-law Maria Sather; and her granddaughter Alicia Brandi Halvorson.

She is survived by: her children, Jessie Halvorson (Blair) of Mahnomen, MN and Danny Martinson (Julie) of Fargo, ND; her sister Pearlie Pazdernik (Robert) of Hillman, MN; her grandchildren, Leah Froseth (Adam), Alexis Kopperud (Nate), Courtney Martinson, Mason Martinson, Preston Halvorson (Mara), Bryce Halvorson (Brianna Morey) and Miranda Otto (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Bentley, Cash, Michaela, Tatum, Colton and Zoie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Following all safety protocols due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
