He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sherman Tilton and Agnes Amelia Tilton (Priebe); his brother Dale Tilton (Phyllis Tilton); his daughters, Marlene Olson (Roger) and Sherry Wedum; his son-in-law David Wedum; and his granddaughter Nicole Lee Tilton.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lucille Wolff; his children, Steven (Brenda Wirth) of Waubun, Minnesota, Terry Tilton (Cheryl) of Hibbing, MN and Kathy Rostedt (Richard) of Sedona, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Evan, Katherine Tilton, Deanna Mercurio (Ron), William Tilton (Stephanie Pohia), Rebecca Del Palazzio (Michael), Ann Butler (Alex), Mark Rostedt (Joanna Black), Erin Brownlee (Jace), Brent Olson (Alison Hintermeister), Lynn Olson, Whitney Gulden (Matthew) and John Wedum. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
