He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Specht and Hilda Specht (Wendt). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thomson of Detroit Lakes, MN; his children, Deb Luksik (Mike) of Otsego, MN, Fred Specht (Amy) of Ada, MN, Art Specht (Stacy) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Sarah Clark (Greg) of Shakopee, MN; and his grandchildren, Anna, Alex, Avery, Carson and Joseph. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
