She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Bjerken and Nettie Bjerken (Olson); her son Michael; and her siblings, Bernice Backen, Arthur, Julius, Gilbert, Melvin and Lloyd Bjerken.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick (Judy) of Davison, MI, Tom (Sharon) of Maple Grove, MN and Curtis (Julie) of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Sheri Cullip (Dave), Janelle Owens (Brian), Sheldin Johnson (Michelle), Shalin Johnson (Paula), TJay Johnson (Meghan), Katrina Strasner (Matthew), McCain Johnson (Becki), Brittany Kirby (Matthew Hancock), Andrea Dixon (Alex) and Patti Finneman (Oliver); her sisters, Jean Hanson of Mahnomen and Lorraine Peterson (Allan); her sister-in-law Bernice Bjerken; and her close friend Tillman Vraa of West Fargo, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
