It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Gloe of Mahnomen, Minnesota, born in Tenstrike, Minnesota, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Pearl Johnson (Schutte); her husband Arnold Gloe; and her siblings, Herb, Clarence, Ted, Bud, Donna Dufseth and Arlene Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Schafer (Ron) of Mahnomen, Karri Kemper (Ken) of Arlington, MN and Bernie Gloe (Jody) of Roseau, MN; her grandchildren, Jared Schafer (Jill), Erica Westbrock (Joe), Kaytlin Harbin (Mike), Sarah Reierson (Brent), Rachel Foeckler (CJ), Tyler Gloe (Courtney) and Becca Gloe (Sal); her brother Carl Johnson (Jani) of Buckeye, AZ; and her sister-in-law Sally Johnson of Blackduck. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
