He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schonhardt; his son Trent Petersen (Sandy) of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Ivana, Gabbi and Trent Jr; and his aunt Betty Schonhardt. He is also survived by one brother; seven sisters; two sisters-in-law.
