It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Wark of Mahnomen, Minnesota, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Wark; her parents, Ben LaFriniere and Grace LaFriniere; her brothers, Reuben and Dennis; her son Richard "Rick" Wark; and her great great grandchild Tehya Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Perkins of Chillicothe, IL, Tim Wark (Connie) of Fosston, MN, Jeff Wark (Phyllis) of Naytahwaush, MN and Kelli Lien (Steve) of Bemidji, MN; her siblings, Joyce Stolpestad of Nevis, MN, Gayle Roy of Renton, WA and Gary LaFriniere of Mahnomen; and her sister-in-law Mary LaFriniere. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren; her 46 great-grandchildren; and her 25 great-great grandchildren.
In 2019, Jean suffered an illness and lived at the Assisted Living Center for a year, before returning to the nursing home during the pandemic.
