We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Gerda Lavoy of Mahnomen, Minnesota. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nordberg and Emma Nordberg (Liljedal); her husband Sidney Lawrence LaVoy; her children, Lawrence, Gerald, Jeanette and Rita; her sons-in-law, Byron Bjorge, Leonard Foss and Theodore LaGue; her siblings, Hannah, Esther, Mary, Bror, Ernest, Axel and Gunnar; her grandsons, James LaGue, David LaGue, Joseph LaVoy and Byron Bjorge Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Spaeth and Sydney Jacobson.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Foss, John (Ann) of Naytahwaush, Sidney of Naytahwaush and Roy (Betsy) of Naytahwaush. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great-grandchildren.
