Dennis Hisgun Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2020, at the age of 77, Dennis Hisgun of Mahnomen, Minnesota, born in Sisseton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah T. Hisgun and Melvina Hisgun (Wanna); his daughters, Jacqueline and Iva; his grandchildren, Ashley, JoLisa, Ivory, Jordan and Noah; his siblings, Elizabeth Hisgun, Ethel Spider, Oretta Szymanek, Norma Max, Shirley Deegan and Wallace Eagle; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Delphine McArthur.
He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Greyowl; his wife Vernie of Mahnomen; his children, DeLinda, Nancy, Nicole, Aimee (Moon), Samantha, Dennis Jr. "DJ" (Carlene), Seth Sr. (Jenelle), Lucas Sr. (Tesshelle), Aaron Sr. (Rachel) and Andrew Sr. (Justine); and his sisters, JoAnn Hisgun and Wanda LaBatte (William). He is also survived by 48 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
