Celestine Neisen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Celestine Neisen of Mahnomen, Minnesota, who passed away on June 5, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haider and Rose Haider (Schoenborn); her husband Math; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Becker, Elmer Remmick, LeRoy Sanden and Lillian Haider.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Pauliann), Mike (Brenda) and Darrell; her granddaughters, Diane Stangel (Al), Marlene Klinkhammer (Steve), Nancy Grinolds (Del), LuAnn Berg (Lyle) and Michelle Benson (Paul); and her siblings, Melvin Haider, Dennis Haider (Corrine), Valarie Becker, Corrina Sanden and Delores Remmick. She is also survived by her eight children; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren plus one on the way; and one great great grandchild.
She donated many of these quilts to fundraisers, benefits, and church functions, along with many hours of volunteer time.
