He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schoenborn and Cecilia Schoenborn (Haider); his parents-in-law, Anna and Leo Hoss; his siblings, Wally, Marvin Schoenborn and Lucille Winter; and his siblings-in-law, Mardelle, Eleanor Schoenborn and Milo Winter.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Schoenborn; his children, Brenda Zimmel (Peter) of Dilworth, MN, Tammy Beyers (Marv Sargent) of South Fargo, ND and Randy Schoenborn (Joy); his niece Lori Boyum (Greg); his grandchildren, Sarah Hoffner (Duston), Jesse Beyers, Eric Zimmel (Laida), Abby Cohen (Andrew) and Kate Egan (Trenton); his great grandchildren, Hailey, Mia and Camilla; and his brothers, LaVerne (Verla) of Mahnomen, Delmar (Betty Ann) of Mahnomen and Sylvester (Pat) of Mahnomen. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
