It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Dewey of Mahnomen, Minnesota, born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Derheim; his granddaughter Abagayle Olson; and his siblings, Bill Dewey, Barbara Fehrenbacher, Geneva Davenport and Irving Dewey.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Stock; his children, Robert Alan (Julie) of Andover, MN, Luke (Nancy) of Moorhead, MN, Treasa Reuter (Jerry) of Huntington Beach, CA, Joseph (Kathy) of Mahnomen and Diana Olson (Dave) of Lindstrom, MN; his son-in-law Chad Derheim of Kent, WA; his brother Jack Dewey of Walnut Grove, CA; and his brother-in-law Jim Stock (Joyce) of Mahnomen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alan's name to St. Michael's Catholic School in Mahnomen and Hospice of the Red River Valley.
