It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Stanley Nygard (Madison, Minnesota), who passed away on April 27, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Harriet; his son Mark; his grandson Eric Nygard; and his siblings, Glenn Nygard, Myra Skurdahl and Sylvia Johnson.
He is survived by: his father Peter; his children, Gary Nygard (Carol) of Appleton, Marcia Kells (John) of Madison, Maureen Hauck (John) of Shoreview and Carolyn Linde (David) of Madison; his grandchildren, Mike Nygard (Kelly), Brock Nygard (Patty), Mitchell Kells, Jarred Kells (Holly), Jake Hauck (Emily), Sam Hauck (Jenni), Melissa Hauck, Sarah Rush (Dan) and Daniel Linde (Jessi); his great grandchildren, Philip Nygard, Kyra Nygard, Alexis, Eric, Brody Nygard, Alice Kells, Isabelle Kells, Annika Hauck, Elsie Hauck, Noah Hauck, Robert Rush, Andrew Rush, Amelia, Oliver and Clara Linde; his siblings-in-law, Gladys Nygard, Verna Kojetin and Ervin Emde; and also Paul.
