It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Wesley Smith (Madison, Minnesota), who passed away on October 23, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Smith and Nellie Smith; his siblings, Edith Leffler, Velda Stoick, Dorothy Preston, Eugene Smith and Richard Smith; and his granddaughter Chantelle Wirkus.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Bittner of Ortonville, MN.; his close friend Bill Wirkus; his children, Wesley Smith (Cathy), Linda Ward (Clint), Lois Larson (Darrell), Thomas Smith (Renee) and Jolene Wirkus; and also Bill Wirkus. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
