She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Strei and Cecilia Strei (Radermacher); her husband Valley; her son Mark; her brothers, Harold, Willard and Wes Strei; her son-in-law Dave Cannata; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Strei, Mary Kay Strei, Jim Hollis and Jim Karels.
She is survived by: her children, Anne of San Francisco, CA, Bob (Sandy) of Sherwood, OR, Ginger of San Francisco, CA, Sue (Bill) of Grand Forks, ND, Gordie (Earla) of Rapid City, SD, Val, Bud of Hillsboro, ND, Mary (Frank) of Caledonia, MI, Myra (Brian) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jean (Rick) of Plymouth, MN and Jan (Mark) of Rochester, MN; her siblings, Lou Anne Hollis, Doreen Karels, Marlys Hoffman (Virgil) and Denis Strei; and her sisters-in-law, Vivian Strei and Joan Strei. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those who wish to honor Lola do so via a memorial to the newly organized St. Joseph's Society of Rosen.
