She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Peterson; her husband John Nesvold; and her brother Vance Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Mary Booth (Sonny) of Miami, OK, Sandy Hoium (Rick) of Madison, MN, Brad Nesvold (Kami) of Madison, MN, Linda Nelson (Lee) of Sauk Centre, MN, Cindy Brehmer (Todd) of Bellingham, MN and Dan Nesvold (Teree) of Pipestone, MN; her mother Evelyn Peterson; her sister Sharon Gilsrud of Longville, MN; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Nesvold (Joan) of Watertown, MN, Robert Nesvold (Emily) of Northfield, MN and Jim Nesvold (Kathy) of Madison. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (106 8th St, Madison, MN 56256). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
