He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Peterson and Ethel Peterson (Peterson); his daughter Char Lund; and his sister Ardis Little. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Boraas; his wife Peggy Peterson (Olson) of Madison, MN.; his children, Linda Vonderharr (Paul) of Hendersonville, TN, Mark Peterson (Melanie) of Madison, MN, Tom Peterson (Babs Behlings) of Madison, MN and David Peterson (Angela Ledding) of Sartell, MN; his stepchildren, Jason Olson (Jenny) of Montevideo, MN and Jacqueline Haukos of Montevideo, MN; his son-in-law Dennis Lund of Madison; his grandchildren, Joe Lund, Lisa Lund Leuthmers (Jeff) and Kristal Wendt (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Austin O'Halloran, Maddie, Morgan, Calen Luethmers, Hadley and Harper Wendt. He is also survived by friends, and caring for his dogs and cats.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
