She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hammett and Marilyn Hammett (Frederick); her grandparents, Ben, Theresa Frederick, Delores and Cleo Hammett; her stepgrandfather Ed Hendrickson; her sister Debbie Brandmire (Charles); her uncle Richard Frederick; and her aunt Rosie Frederick.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Smisek (Brent) of Owatonna and Cody Schnepf (Brandi) of Waldorf; her granddaughters, Nora and Smisek; her former husband Brad Schnepf of Janesville; her brothers, Tom Jurgens (Edith) of Windom, Scott Hammett (Lisa) of Madison Lake, Jim Hammett (Julie) of Janesville and Brian Hammett (Stacy Hohenstein) of St. Peter; and her aunt Betty Ewert (Gary) of Janesville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
