He was predeceased by: his father William Tuma; and his grandparents, James, Mary Simon and Clara Tuma. He is survived by: his mother Marion Tuma (Simon); his former wife Rita Erickson; his children, Angie McDonough (Terry), Jody Tuma (Marcy) and Robin Jordan (Todd); his former wife Rita Klocow; his grandchildren, Rachel McDonough, Dylan, Tristyn Tuma, Tyler and Brayden Jordan; his sister Mary Kay "Kutchie" Whipps (David); his nephews, Andy and Steve Whipps; and his pet Spooky.

“My heart breaks as i learn the world has lost this amazing man!! Randy became a friend of mine a few yrs ago when he was a boat inspector he would visit my store on his way to and from the lake. We became good friends and spent time together visiting flea markets, playing bingo at the vfw, visiting the bison at minneopa park and just hanging out B.S-ing & laughing! He sure made a mean stuffed pork chop & had a contagious laugh & smile!! Im Really gonna miss you Randy, u were a good man & friend!”
