He was predeceased by: his mother Gudrun Moldstad (Madson). He is survived by: his father Rev. John, Sr. (June); his wife Joslyn Marie Wiechmann; his siblings, Rev. Donald (Gina) and Lois Fick (Paul); and his children, Rachel Renee, John Andrew (Amanda), Rev. Matthew James (Joni), Michael John (Annie), Andrea Elizabeth Hopkins (Kyle), Joshua Ryan (Rachel) and Brittany Rachelle Cordes (Tony). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church (2090 Commerce Drive North Mankato, MN 56003) or the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (6 Browns Ct., Mankato, MN 56001).
