He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Struss and Elsie Struss (Helmer); his wife Janyce; his grandson Tylor Jon; and his brothers, Lyle Struss (Rosemary) and Kenneth Struss.
He is survived by: his brother Kenny; his children, Jayne Struss of Baxter and Tim Missal of Forest City, IA; and his sister-in-law Marie Struss of Northfield. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
