He was predeceased by: his mother Janis. He is survived by: his father Kenneth; his siblings, Julie Spiess (John), Mary Aukes (Paul) and Brian; and his stepdaughters, Nicki Schaefer and Jessica Kubes. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
It was Dan's wish that memorials be sent to Mayo Clinic Hospice - Mankato, or the charity of the donor's choice.
