With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Bertha Doris Ellingsberg (Madelia, Minnesota), who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Louise Breitbarth (Brummond); her husband Albert "Abe" Ellingsberg; her son Daniel; and her siblings, Valeen Altenburg, Darlene Meisch, Dale and Marlon Breitbarth.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ellingsberg (Jack Kachmarek), David Ellingsberg (Sharon), Gay Ellingsberg (Tom LaDouceur) of Minneapolis and Yvette Ellingsberg-Hennies (Michael) of Big Lake; her grandchildren, Eric Ellingsberg (Tessa Achman), Kyle Ellingsberg (Catie), Nathan Ellingsberg (Cherise), Camille Romanowicz (Chadd), Tyson Schnitker (Mary), Callie Schnitker (Ben Willenbring), Forrest Hennies (Sarah) and Danielle Hennies; and her great grandchildren, Phoenix, Lucas, Lucy, Henry, Ophelia, Oliver, Beau, Malia, Aiden, Leighton and Lillianna.
She loved drawing and painting and drew each and every donated item at the Historical Center.
