She was predeceased by: her parents, John Halloran and Grace Halloran (Schoell); her former husband Bob Flicek of New Prague; her spouse Marlo Johnson; her brothers, Ed Halloran, John Halloran (Betty), Joe Halloran and Jim Halloran; and her parents-in-law, Norbert, Irene Flicek, Glen and Marge Flicek.
She is survived by: her children, Bob, Dan Flicek (Kathy) of Mendota Heights, Jane Sorenson (Bob) of Hanska, Greg Flicek of Durango, Julie Halvorson (Jeff) of Madelia and Joan Johnson (Don) of Elko; her grandchildren, Annie Vetter (Ryan), Mary Meyer (Derek), Lizzy Jeska (Ryan), Tim Sorenson (Steph), Mike Sorenson (Laura), Josh Sorenson (Jen), Kristin Covarrubias, Josh Halvorson (Sadie), Jay Halvorson (Larissa), Jared Halvorson (Bailey), Tony Johnson (Erin), Eric Johnson and Nick Johnson; her sisters, Dori Solie (Bill) of Eden Prairie and Mary Louise Hayden (Don) of Kilkenny; and her sisters-in-law, Marian Halloran of St. Thomas, Mary Jean Halloran of St. Thomas, Rita Halloran of Minneapolis and Rose Halloran. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a serious bridge player, playing bridge for many years with her friends until the pandemic put a hold on it.
