He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schultz and Iva Schultz (Ward); his former wife Arlene Schultz (Coult); and his siblings, Floyd, Wilbert, Gerald, Wesley and Delores.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Schultz (Laingen-Ulmen); his children, Brenda Schultz and Brian Schultz (Sarah Wimmer); his grandchildren, Kahlan, Kasey Schultz and Amber Siem; his great grandchildren, Austen Hansen and Alaya Smith; his stepchildren, Tom Ulmen (Becca) and Terese Peterson (Kent); and his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Peterson, Elyse, Meara and Piper Ulmen.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Madelia (406 W Main St, Madelia, MN 56062). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
