He is survived by: his daughter Crissy Gugler (Sean) of San Jose, California; his stepson Mike Burt of Washington; his stepgrandson Don Scow of Ohio; and his close friends, Theresa McHugo and Kevin Byro.

The family prefers memorials be given to Pheasants Forever.
