He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mikkelson and Mary Mikkelson (Rudie); and his wife Nina Mikkelson. He is survived by: his children, Charles (LaDonna) of Madelia, Cheryl James (Philip) of Brainerd, Barbara Schmid of Maple Plain and Terry Mikkelson (Tracey Oren) of Madelia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
