It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Hanson (Madelia, Minnesota), born in Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hanson and Ida Hanson (Sandmeyer); his siblings, Dennis Hanson and Audrey Roiger; his nephews, Perry Roiger and Mitch Carlson; his great-nephews, Josh Nelson and Francisco A. Roiger; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Carlson, Elwood Wright and Melvin Roiger.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ilene Carlson of St. James, Irene Wright of St. James, Marilyn Nelson (Joel) of St. James, Harlan Hanson (Arlene) of St. James, Gary Hanson of Rapid City, SD and Joseph Hanson (Robin) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
