He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kunz and LoRita Kunz (Farris); his wife Dee Kunz; his siblings, Kathryn Zilka, Paul Weldon, Dominic and Bernard Kunz; and his siblings-in-law, Allie Kunz, Barb Kunz, Gloria Weldon and Allan Hacker.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Chris Melzer; his siblings, Vincent Kunz and Ruth Hacker; and his sister-in-law Mary Kunz.
