He was predeceased by: his siblings, Cindy Rathman, Judy Murilla and Calvin Ellanson; his parents-in-law, Julie and Bud Spidahl; and his parents, Joseph Rusten and Jeanette Rusten (Vee).
He is survived by: his wife Debra Rusten of Madelia; his grandchildren, Blaine, Brady, Jaden, Mason, Gavin, Keslie and Liam; and his siblings, June Morgan of Madelia, Vicki Larson of St. James, Gordon Ellanson (Connie) of Le Center and Allen Ellanson of St. James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
