It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Jeanne Benzel of Madelia, Minnesota, who passed away on July 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hemerick and Louise Hemerick; and her husband Larry Benzel. She is survived by: her children, Marc Benzel of Madelia and Lisa Holmgren (Jason) of Hammond, WI; her daughter-in-law Shannon Ledin (Brett) of Madelia; her grandchildren, Riley Benzel, Josh Benzel, Kadin Benzel, Kaitlyn Holmgren and AJ Holmgren; her siblings-in-law, Donald Benzel (Sharron), JoAnne Cochran (Milo) and Kenneth Benzel (Judy); and her pets, Reese and Winnie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; friends.
