It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donovan Hopman of Madelia, Minnesota, born in Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on October 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hopman and Martha Hopman (Munsterman); his wife Lorraine Hopman (Jensen); and his brothers, Melvin Hopman and Harold Hopman.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hopman (Karen), Nancy Strupp (Tom), Jane Piepgras (Ric) and Jim Hopman (Amy); his sisters, Verna Young and Eunice Luedtke; and his sister-in-law Janice Jensen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Living Meadows at Luther in Madelia or the Madelia Community Hospital Foundation.
