He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Miggs" Yerkes; and his grandson Taylor Yerkes. He is survived by: his friend Rex Helder; his children, Dean Yerkes of DeForest, WI, Brad Yerkes (Cindy) of Alexandria, MN and Lynn Valo of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Marisa, Shannon, Josh and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Alya, Sienna, Stevie, Lane and Alaina.
