He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Archerd and Hazel Archerd (Lewis); his siblings, Virginia (Morgan), Lewis, Donald and Audrey (Tierney); his children, Dawn and Derek; and his wives, Betty Vorwek and Lois (Jensen).
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Essie (Archerd), Earl Mather, Flossie (Lewis) and Hibbard Thompson; his cousins, Viola (Brown), Rudy Paulson, Marjorie (Keech) and David Parker; his friends, Don Rooney, Frank Minie, Gene Ogle and Oceanside; and his daughters, Bonnie Grochow (Roger), Kim Koser (Mark), Mandi Dirksen (Kevin), Becki Archerd and Rani Archerd. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many cherished friends.
