It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Grannis of Madelia, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Torbjorn Grannis and Florence Grannis (Fisk); his grandparents, Arthur and Bessie Fisk (Long); and his wife Elaine Grannis.
He is survived by: his grandson James; his children, Winnebago, Laurie Lewis (Kevin, Sr.) and James Grannis (Merodee); his grandchildren, Angelica Sanchez, Rev. Michael Grannis (Kristy), Heather Grannis, Heidi Grannis, Jamie Zukic (Emir), Holly Herring (Chris) and Kevin Lewis, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Michaiah, Tovin, Colby, Kina, Ada, Eliana, Elora, Teshua, Joah, Jeraiah, Beckett, Kohen, Maven and Lily.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church-Madelia (109 3rd St SE, Madelia, MN 56062). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
