He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Kunz and LoRita Kunz (Farris); his wife Barb Kunz; his son-in-law Ralph Schmidt; and his siblings, Paul Wheldon, Kathryn Kunz and Nick Kunz.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Lea Kunz (Firchau); his children, Tammy Kunz (Rick Jaeger), Amy Schmidt and BJ Kunz (Sarah); his granddaughter Stormie Schmidt; his stepgrandchildren, Brooke, Megan, Taylor and Madisyn Schmidt; his siblings, Ruth Hacker (Alan), Greg Kunz and Vince Kunz; his sisters-in-law, Mary Kunz and Gloria Wheldon; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Gunner, Harper, Archie Sellnow, Victoria, Mariah, Adam, Emma, Henry, Sammy and Luke Shakal.
