He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Maloney and Margie Maloney (Hamilton); his sister Karen; and his grandson Grant. He is survived by: his wife Joy Maloney; his sons, Matthew (Christi) and Russell Maloney; his grandchildren, Grace, Abby, Parker and Julia; and his brother Allen.

It is preferred that memorials be made in lieu of flowers.
