She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Pierson and Clara Pierson (Haukvik); her husband Robert Mikkelson; her brother Robert Pierson (Virginia); her brothers-in-law, Jerry Ahlness and Warren Brudelie; and her son-in-law Jerry Trullinger.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Trullinger of Redwood Falls, Larry Mikkelson (Ruth) of Hanska and Lance Mikkelson (Pam) of St. James; her siblings, Gerald Pierson (Carol) of New Ulm, Donna Ahlness of New Ulm and Shirley Brudelie of Hanska; and her sister-in-law Carol Todnem of St. James. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
