He is survived by: his significant other Evon Marquardt of Marshall; his children, LouAnn Herbeck (Steve) of North Mankato, Elaine Purvey (Jim) of Bloomington, Kevin Kopka (Kathy) of Madelia, Wanda Bethke (Gene) of Raymond, Marlys Carsten of Spring Valley, Roy Kopka of Minneota, Scott Kopka (Heidi) of Crystal and Lorene Jones (Brad) of Kasota; his sisters, Annella Ringwelski and Hilaria Rader; his sisters-in-law, Doris Stachowski and Carol Roles; his grandchildren, Heather Penkert (Erich), Nathan Herbeck (Heather), Jessica Scotting (Steve), Jordan Bethke, Anthony Bethke, Jacob Jackson, Paige Kopka, Macenzie Kopka, Garrett Kopka and Shannon Carsten; his great grandchildren, Rosa, Pearl, Lillian Penkert, Desiree, Janessa, Taryn Scotting, Aspen Rucktaeschel, Karter Merkel, Lexy Nimmo and Ashley Nimmo; and his great great grandchild Gideon Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
