He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elroy, Harold, Marlowe, Donald Frederickson, Marcella Oachs and Virginia Nelson; his grandson Jesse Anderson; and his parents, Edward "Eddy" and Tilda Frederickson (Helling).
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Frederickson; his children, Kathryn Anderson (David Anderson) of New Ulm and Michael Frederickson (Shelly); his grandchildren, Holly Llavona, Jessica Rethwill, Andrew Anderson, Eric Frederickson and Lauren Frederickson; and his sister Sonja Smesmo (Arnie) of Hanska. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
