It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Thooft (Lynd, Minnesota), born in Westbrook, Minnesota, who passed away on March 1, 2019, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lanners and Carol Lanners; her former husband Jim Peterson; her son Lance Peterson; and her sister-in-law Dawn Lanners.
She is survived by: her husband David Thooft; her children, Jonathon Peterson (Amy), Mary Wisniewski (Jesse), Danica Castle (Armando Gaona) and Austin Thooft (Kayla); her grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, Emma, Hunter Peterson, Michael, AftonJo Wisniewski, Leo, Mason, Alexa, Fernando, Ivan Gaona Castle and Maverick Thooft; and her siblings, David Lanners, Connie Schreier (Randy), Kevin Lanners (Chris), Mike Lanners (Kelly), Dale Lanners (Kathy) and Robert Lanners Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Prairie Home Hospice and Community Care.
