It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Roy Sowden of Lynd, Minnesota, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sowden and Viola Sowden (Petersen); and his siblings, Lana Smith and James Sowden. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cameron Van Overbeke and Lacey Sowden; his wife Judy Sowden of Lynd; his children, Lonny Sowden (Wanda) of Marshall, Jerry Sowden (Cathy) of Oil City, PA and Laurie Van Overbeke (Scott) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Cody Sowden (Alex) of Tyler, Tyler Sowden of Milroy, Anna Sowden of Oil City, PA and Brandon Van Overbeke of Marshall; his great grandchild Everett Sowden; and his sister Diana Anderson (Charles) of Burnsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
