He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Nelson and Esther Nelson (Fahje); and his sister Jean Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Nelson of Lyle, MN; his children, Janelle Achenbach (John) of Lyle, MN, Joel Nelson (Carrie) of Lyle, MN and Mark Nelson (Lindsey Viersen) of Roseville, CA; his grandchildren, Zoe, Foster Achenbach of Lyle, MN, Lucy, Jed, Mac Nelson of Lyle, Jersey, Von and Daisel Nelson of Roseville, CA; and his sisters, Shirley Golberg (Nels) and Lois Peters (Ron) of Austin, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
