Virgil Christensen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2022, at the age of 94, Virgil Christensen of Luverne, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Christensen and Blanche Christensen (Anderson); his wife Beverly Wood; and his siblings, Beverly Kundert, Cleo Christensen and Gerald Christensen.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Christensen (Adolfo Gallego) of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Paula Christensen of St. Louis Park, David Christensen (Duane Hardy) of Bagley, Carla Casanova (Mike) of Sioux Falls, Jolene Ver Steeg (Bruce) of Lone Tree, Jayne Christensen of Sioux Falls and Mark Christensen of Fort Collins, Colorado; and his brother-in-law Al Kundert of Pierre. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

All memorials will be given to the Beverly and Virgil Christensen Scholarship of the Luverne Dollars for Scholars.
