He is survived by: his children, Colette Peterson (Gary) of Sioux Falls, Carol Foster (Tom) of Luverne, Colleen Hemme of Sleepy Eye, Kristy Monger of Nashville and Mark Dorn (Jodie) of Luverne; and his grandchildren, Tera, Amy, Matthew, Beth, Jonathan, Todd, Stephanie, Chad, Nicole, Abby, Amanda, Nathan and Marissa. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
